9.0 Procurement Policy

It is the policy of Woodstock and District Developmental Services (WDDS) that publicly funded expenditures and/or commitments, purchases of goods and services, construction services and information technology are acquired by WDDS through a process that is open, fair, and transparent and that they are acquired in accordance with this policy.

9.01 Perquisites

It is the policy of Woodstock and District Developmental Services (WDDS) to be accountable for the public funds it receives and that the requirements of the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Perquisites Directive issued under the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010 are met.

9.02 Expenses

It is the policy of Woodstock and District Developmental Services (WDDS) to be accountable for the public funds it receives and that the requirements of the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Expenses Directive issued under the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010 are met.

It is also the policy of WDDS that all employees, volunteers and appointees will be reimbursed for reasonable and justifiable out-of-pocket expenses incurred while travelling on authorized trips or outings and when making authorized purchases on behalf of the agency.
